beach pt.2

The tide shifts the shore, carving new lines in the sand that vanish with the next wave. Pieces of driftwood and shells sit scattered, left behind by currents. The air carries salt and the faint warmth of sunbaked sand. Feet press into the shoreline, leaving temporary marks, while the gulls trace circles overhead. Everything moves on its own schedule. You don’t need to do anything. You just notice.
