The beach has a way of slowing you down without asking for it. Waves roll in and out, steady and unpredictable at the same time. Sand sticks to your feet in patches, warm under the sun, cool in the shade. Gulls circle overhead, their calls mixing with the constant rush of water. It’s not about escaping, just noticing, being present in a place that feels bigger than yourself.
