1. Crawling

During this stage the search engine bots discover your content by “crawling” it. 

2. Indexing 

During this stage search engines decide on how relevant your content is by indexing it based on particular signals such as keywords. 

3. Ranking

The final stage dictates which content will be featured by ranking your content in search results. Your website’s authority will directly impact your ranking strength. Authority is determined through how often your content is talked about, referred to, and cited to in other works.
